I couldn't sleep on this cold lonely night,
wishing for your company all through till day light.
The desire for your presence and your sweet melodious voice oh so strong;
I can't help but think of you whole night long.
I feel for you but i don't know whether it's right or wrong;
give me a hint or two, or maybe a wonderful love song?
I know i used to frighten you with all my weird antics;
oh stupid me how in the hell was it romantic!
But now i am serious in this courtship,
cos' everytime i see you oh my heart with emotions it will skip!
So please accept this love of mine,
from this stupid little swine.
I promise to give you all my best,
but only with your love then will i truly be blessed.
So please do consider this poor boy's heart,
please accept it and not tear it apart.
But if you think otherwise don't let this end,
for we could still remain as greatest best friends.
alas it was not to be and she did not even acknowledge what was my wholehearted love that i gave unconditionally. She left without a sign and found someone else that took the position of what i wanted to be in the first place. Nonetheless she was happy and that's all that matters i guess.
It's been so long since and i doubt she even remembers what was my first ever poem for someone. Afterall, who was i in her eyes? Just a friend.
A friend, just like how it always ends.
